Once there were 2 farmer brothers. They had a huge land and there was a spring running across the land. Both brothers were owing the land on two different sides of that spring.
Once they had a fight and they stopped talking to each other. The younger brother was so angry that he called the best carpenter in the village and told the carpenter that I want to build a wall on the bank of my side of spring. So I will not have to see at all at my brother’s space. Carpenter said that I will do my best, just let me know when you are going on some travel, so that my work will not disturb you.
So, the younger brother told him when he was out of village for work for a week. Carpenter promised that he will be done with the work by the time the trip was done.
The day younger brother came back, he did not notice any wall. Just a beautiful bridge going across from his side of the spring to the other side. He went on the bridge and found the elder brother waiting with open arms on the other side of the bridge. They were so happy to see each other that they even forgot what was the issue because of which they were not talking with each other for so long.
You can understand that even though the carpenter did not do the work that he was supposed to be doing, he got paid handsomely 🙂
Let us take some to find out the “right thing” to do and then worry about “how to do it right”.
