Getting Things Done – David Allen
Almost all of us have ton of pending work. This book handles the situation in a systematic way. Worth implementing the methodology (but it works only if you do weekly review of pending things). The author also has podcast and a premium site.
Building a second brain – Tiago Forte
We collect information from all different sources – eMails, web-sites, articles, books. And always think that we will go back to the source when we need it. The promise of the book is that if you follow the methodology, you will be able to get that quickly and it will be organized in a way that is useful. Concept is good, implementation a bit harder.
Multipliers – Liz Wiseman
Help for surviving a micro manager or being a better manager
Your Money or Your Life – Vicki Robin
We spend time on each dollar that we get. What if we see each spending in terms of life energy spent and try to evaluate whether the expense/purchase was worth the time or not. Interesting perspective on managing money and looking at the budget in a different way. Author’s site has nice book summary.
